This tiny creature is a dragonfly that I met at the top of a yellow iris in the stunningly beautiful Calloway Gardens, GA. I had planned to get images of a dragonfly, and capture the sheer iridescent magic of their delicate wings. I worked for more than an hour with this little guy to get the image that I saw in my mind's eye. But every time I adjusted my tripod to a better position, he moved to face me. Again and again we found ourselves eye to eye. As we danced in the garden, I gradually became aware that the world needs to be seen on its own terms and patience is often rewarded with a different perspective of tremendous beauty.
